Examiner services for enrolled students
Our FAA examiner services are part of GCAS training and are available only to students enrolled in a GCAS course. They are not offered as a standalone service. To enroll, use the contact form.
Military competency (14 CFR §61.73)
If you are enrolled in a GCAS course as a military pilot or former military pilot, you can apply your flight experience toward an FAA Commercial Pilot certificate with instrument rating under 14 CFR §61.73. As part of your training, we review your military pilot records and verify your military competency aeronautical knowledge test results, and we can issue or upgrade pilot certificates bearing type ratings based on your military pilot qualifications.

Foreign pilot examiner (14 CFR §61.75)
For enrolled GCAS students, our Foreign Pilot Examiners review your records and verify your computer test reports for the foreign pilot instrument knowledge tests to make sure you meet the requirements for a private pilot certificate and ratings at the private pilot certification level, as outlined in 14 CFR §61.75.
As authorized by 14 CFR §61.71(c), for enrolled students we may also issue private pilot, commercial pilot, or airline transport pilot certificates on the basis of a Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreement (BASA) and Implementing Procedures for Licensing (IPL) between your home country and the United States.
