Boeing B-737-800 PIC type rating
Objective: a Boeing B-737 PIC type rating with no limitations. Training uses computer-based systems home study, instructor-led ground school review, and Level C or D B-737-800 flight simulation devices.

Standard Type Rating Course
- Paired Clients: $12,500* USD (per person)

- Duration: 4-5 days*, depending on your recency
* It is recommended that you plan an extra day at the end (early morning simulator completion, simulator troubles, that sort of thing).

- 64 hour Ground School for ยง61.64
- 40 hours CBT
- P-8 Poseidon reduced 40 hour curricula with NATOPS letter (PIC within last 24 months)
- 14 hours D level FFS
- 3 hour practical with GCAS Examiner
- The ATP practical test with the type rating, if you already qualify at the FAA ATP level and hold ATP knowledge exam results
License requirements
Minimum to start: an unrestricted FAA airman certificate with Private or Commercial Pilot, Airplane Multi-engine Land, and Instrument Airplane. Foreign license holders and pilots with single-engine only or centerline-thrust-only limitations should contact us before enrolling.

ATP concurrent with the B-737 type rating
If you already qualify at the FAA ATP level and hold ATP knowledge exam results, you may take the Airline Transport Pilot practical test with the type rating. It is included in the type rating price. Ask us about pairing that with the ATP CTP.
