Airbus A-320 PIC type rating
Objective: an Airbus A-320 PIC type rating with no limitations. Training uses computer-based systems home study, instructor-led ground school review, and Level C or D A320-200 flight simulation devices.
A-320 type rating course options
Standard Type Rating Course

What’s included
- Computer-based aircraft systems home study
- Instructor-led ground school review
- Training in Level C or D A320-200 flight simulation devices
- The A-320 type rating practical test with a GCAS examiner (GCAS is FAA-authorized to train and issue the A-320 type rating)
- The ATP practical test with the type rating, if you meet the FAA ATP level and hold ATP knowledge exam results
* It is recommended that you plan an extra day at the end (early morning simulator completion, simulator troubles, that sort of thing).
License requirements
Minimum to start: unrestricted FAA Private or Commercial, Airplane Multi-engine Land, and Instrument Airplane. Foreign license and centerline-thrust cases: contact us first.
ATP concurrent with the A-320 type rating
If you meet the FAA ATP level and hold ATP knowledge exam results, the ATP practical test can run with the type rating. It is included in the type rating price. We can walk you through ATP CTP timing.
