Vintage Wings FE Services and Gulf Coast Aeronautical can currently conduct tests and checks in large, vintage aircraft requiring a flight engineer, which are no longer in significant commercial service.

We currently are authorized to do testing and checking on the following class aircraft:

• Turbojet
• Turbopropeller

The test must be completed in the actual aircraft. If you are currently flying a DoD aircraft, please contact us on the procedures to allow an FAA Designated Examiner to conduct the test on a DoD aircraft. Both companies can provide flight engineer recurrent checks required by 14CFR§ 91.529, these checks may be conducted in the aircraft, or Full Flight Simulator.
