Gulf Coast Aeronautical Services is authorized by the managing Flight Standards office to accept applications for renewal of flight instructor certificates that are still current and for which the renewal process is merely administrative (i.e., a practical test is not required for renewal of the applicant’s flight instructor certificate).

As an FAA Airman Certification Representative we can also review applicants’ attendance training records and we determine the applicants’ eligibility for the renewal of a current flight instructor certificate based on attendance of a flight instructor refresher course (FIRC).
